You can call me:
Sarah (she/her)

My academic or professional journey:
I earned my B.A. in Psychology at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and participated in programs such as the UNL Honors Program, the McNair Scholars Program, and the Undergraduate Creative Activities and Research Experience Program (UCARE). As of Fall 2025, I am an MA/Ph.D. student in Counseling Psychology at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. I look forward to drawing on my experiences and knowledge to support students and their growth and success.

Where I call home:
I call Lincoln, Nebraska home — Go Huskers! While I grew up in Lincoln, I also really enjoy traveling, exploring different cultures, and meeting new people!

My favorite hobby:
A couple of hobbies of mine include traveling to new places, cooking delicious recipes, planting flowers in my garden, and being active in nature. I also enjoy watching new and interesting shows and musicals, and spending quality time with my friends and family doing fun activities together!

A person/place/thing/idea that has had great influence on my life:
My mentors, teachers, family, and friends have been wonderful support systems throughout many stages of my life. As a first-generation student, I faced many unknowns and obstacles, but with their guidance and encouragement, I have been able to seek meaningful opportunities and reach my goals. The support and kindness I have received have shaped who I am today, and I hope to offer support to others while making a positive impact in my community.
